In case anyone out there wonders why I do so many teasers, I like doing teasers the day of or the very next day because people always want to know how the images turned out. If they see at least one good shot, then they are pretty content until I can get them their cd of images.

Today was a photoshoot with Emma. Emma is now 18 months old and very inquisitive in the world around her, just not me. She was picking up things right and left and studying them. She is going to be one smart girl.

A New Name, A New Blog

These two photos just have to be stuff that us photographers happen across during our photoshoots. It may take a moment to reference the Adam and Eve subtlety of the first photo but I have faith that you will get it.

Sasha and Jamie Engaged

Wind blow hair = sexy, wind blowing hair out of head = not so sexy. Despite the weather malfunctions, we managed to produce some wonderful images. We had a great time and check out Sasha's eyes. They make some really captivating looks. So thanks to Sasha and Jamie for being great troopers and I hope you enjoy the photos.

They're Getting Married

Like I said, there are a ton of great shots from this shoot. Johanna and Brandon were amazingly comfortable and just had a lot of fun. Plus, I recieved a great tour of Kalamazoo, MI. The couple is living in Ft. Wayne, IN but they are both originally from Kalamazoo. They had wanted images from some of the places that were significant of their relationship and they couldn't have asked for better weather when we were there.

Today I had another great engagement session but it was a lot more work. We had clear skies but the wind definintly gave us a whirlwind. But how cute are Jamie and Sasha. They were quite the troopers and they will have some great memories to go along with this photoshoot. I will be posting more images later but I wanted to give both couple a sneak peek.

A Teaser

This is just a teaser from my engagement session with Brandon and Johanna. Very cute. I just went through all the photos and I can't believe how many great shots there are. More are to come but now I need my beauty rest for tomorrows shoot.

We Have the Dress!

It seems it does not pay off to research department store products online before you plan on shopping at the store but Saks Fifth Avenue had this dress and it was fabulous. It was the first of only two dresses I tried on. How is that for the completely not "bridezilla" nomination?

Today

Today I got to meet, very briefly, a photographer whose blog I often stalk. It happens to be one of those six degrees of seperations thing, even though in Fort Wayne it tends to be more like 3 degrees. I had originally came to know of her by a friend's wedding and began admiring her work through her website and blog. Eventually she posted an image of her husband and it happens to be someone I went to Germany with on a high school trip. Since they used to live here, they happened to be in town and our paths crossed. Silly me, upon seeing her, I blurt out, " I know you". Since I don't really know her, I immediately went into the explanation that I stalk her blog and that I kind of know her husband. Anyway, I totally admire her since she is close to my age and has a fabulous career in front of her already and if anyone is interested, check out her site @ www.bybobbi.com.

Flower Happy

Be prepared to see plenty of plant and flower photos during the summer months. There isn't a more photogenic subject matter. Plus, who doesn't love a brilliant flower photo?
